A calendar is a system of organizing days for tasks or administrative purposes.
The calendar in the Kiri Align system displays the tasks, checklists, procedures, etc. that are assigned to you and sends reminders when they’re due.
On the top right corner of the application, you have Kiri Align System Guide, Calendar, Notification, and Profile icons.
Click on the calendar icon to access your calendar. It is the second icon as you can see highlighted in the above image.
As you can see in the image above, the numbers on blue dots on days in the calendar represent the number of tasks that are due on that day.
The numbers shown in coloured squares below on each day represent the number of different types of tasks/lists.
Below the calendar you can see what each colour on your calendar depicts. Each list/task type is given a unique colour so you can differentiate easily.
Click on any date on the calendar to see the list of tasks for that particular date.
On the top right-hand side, you can see the ‘Next’ button. You can use it to go to the next month. Then ’Previous’, ‘Today’, and ‘Next’ buttons will appear, which you can use to go to the previous month, next month, or go back to the current day respectively.
You can also select the Monthly / Weekly / Day view by clicking on the ‘Month/Week/Day’ button on the left.
The weekly view is as shown below:
On the top right-hand side, you can see the previous, today, and next buttons, you can use them to go to the previous week, next week, or go back to the current week.
The day view is as shown below:
As you can see, there are certain tasks listed at the top, even before the day starts. These tasks are non-recurring tasks that are to be done only on that day.
If you check the ‘Show No Recurrence’ checkbox that you can see in the image above, you will be able to see the non-recurring tasks or checklists.
On the top right-hand side, you can see the previous, today, and next buttons, you can use them to go to the previous day, next day, or go back to the current day.
Adding Filters to the Calendar View
You can add filters to your calendar view to organise your tasks well and get a better view of your schedule based on your priorities.
Click on the ‘Filter’ dropdown to add a filter to your calendar view. You’ll see checkboxes with different checklist options to filter from.
Once you select the tasks/lists that you need to view, your calendar view will change and you’ll be able to view the desired tasks/lists only. As shown in the image below.
Checking Notifications/Reminders
Whenever you have any notifications or reminders, they will be displayed when you click on the notification icon. You can view real-time notifications for reminders related to your tasks and other updates here (non-compliance, checklists to be undertaken or assessed, and shared checklist).
When you click on a particular reminder/notification, you will be directed directly to the section in the system.
For example, if you have a ‘Pre-start’ reminder, it means that you are supposed to undertake a pre-start checklist on that day. So if you click on that reminder, the pre-start checklist will get opened and you can submit it.
