How to Manage Configuration and Add Custom Fields
Learn how to manage configuration and add custom the safety and compliance platform according to your business needs.
Configuration in the Kiri Align application means defining options and making changes in the built-in features as per the user's liking.
Configuration in the Kiri Align application means defining options and making changes in the built-in features as per the user's liking.
In the configuration section, you can configure and add custom fields to all the dropdowns in the forms and checklist that you have in the system.
As you can see in the screenshot below, there are various types of categories that you can configure for your business and industry type.
Equipment Category
Select the category that you want to configure - Equipment Category. You can see a screen as below.
Then click on the ‘Add Config Value’ button to add your own values to the category.
Click on the ‘Right Tick Icon’ once you’re done adding the values to save them.
You can start using the custom values right away.
Equipment Sub-category
- In the ‘Equipment Category’ tab of your ‘System Configuration’ section, you get a list of all the equipment categories in your system.
- On the right hand side of each category, you can see two icons - ‘Edit’ and ‘View Subcategory.’
- Click on the ‘View Subcategory’ icon to add subcategories for the selected equipment category.
- You’ll see a screen like below:
- Click on the ‘Add Subcategory’ button to create subcategories. Add name of the subcategory and click the ‘Right Tick Icon’ at the right to save it.
- Click on the ‘Add Subcategory’ button if you need to add more subcategories or click on the ‘Back’ button to exit.
Incident Location
Select the category that you want to configure - Incident Location. You can see a screen as below.
Then click on the ‘Add Config Value’ button to add your own values to the category.
Click ‘Save’ once you’re done adding the values and you can start using the custom values right away.
Incident Severity
Select the category that you want to configure - Incident Severity. You can see a screen as below.
Then click on the ‘Add Config Value’ button to add your own values to the category.
Click ‘Save’ once you’re done adding the values and you can start using the custom values right away.
Incident Type
Select the category that you want to configure - Incident Type. You can see a screen as below.
Then click on the ‘Add Config Value’ button to add your own values to the category.
Click ‘Save’ once you’re done adding the values and you can start using the custom values right away.
Training Type
Select the category that you want to configure - Training Type. You can see a screen as below.
Then click on the ‘Add Config Value’ button to add your own values to the category.
Click ‘Save’ once you’re done adding the values and you can start using the custom values right away.
Procedure Category
Select the category that you want to configure - Procedure Category. You can see a screen as below.
Then click on the ‘Add Config Value’ button to add your own values to the category.
Click ‘Save’ once you’re done adding the values and you can start using the custom values right away.
